School Year Near-End (but not quite there yet)

We are at the tail end of kid & school events. 

Track banquet: done

Swim team banquet: done

Orchestra banquet: done

Envirothon banquet: later this week

E's county orchestra concert: done

E's school orchestra concert: done

H's piano recital: done

C's jazz band concert: done

C's musical (she was an Oompa-Loompa!): done

E's violin recital: this weekend

C's field day: today!

C's recognition ceremony for finishing elementary school: next week

E and H's finals: next week

I am not sure yet what we'll be doing for the end of school year celebration... some years, we've gotten ice cream with kids and their friends. Other years, we've done nothing.

I think it will be good to schedule something that we can all look forward to and celebrate the beginning of summer break. I will check with the kids to see what they think would be fun (but easy).
